The Style Guide for the School of Medicine, Application Department (and all subsequent applications) is based on a collection of several components:
Normalize CSS and a subset of Milligram work together to provide a minimal base for working with grids and forms. Other than a few small classes, most of these styles are directly applied to the HTML elements.
We then use our own custom styles defined in this Style Guide to alter the default Milligram styles, as well as add our own custom components.
Tailwind is used for utility-based element styling. Use Tailwind classes when you are building styles for a completely custom page or component that will not be reused.
Finally, Feather Icons is the icon set we use for minimally designed image indicators.
The subset of Milligram that we use does not contain styles for typography, buttons, or standard block level padding/margins. These are handled by the our custom CSS.
Only the Tailwind component and utility classes are included—not the base classes.
